The Dental Health Foundation provides a bursary to promote the communication of current oral health promotion projects and work that is going on across Ireland. We are delighted to announce that the amount to be awarded in September 2022 will be €1000.
2024
The DHF was delighted to award this year's Oral Health Promotion Research Group Bursary Award to Emma Ryan for her proposal "Keep Smiling - Working Together". Emma's project focuses on helping parents of autistic children maintain their children's dental health and make dental visits more comfortable. You can read more here.

Congratulations to Ailish Nolan, winner of the Oral Health Promotion Research Group Bursary Award 2023. DHF CEO Orla Kennedy presented Ailish with her award at the recent OHPRG Conference. Ailish's submission "The translation of Dental leaflets to enable brief interventions in Oral Health across the language barrier" highlights the need for a multi-sectorial and multi-faceted approach to Oral Health to help achieve sustainable improvements in health.

We are delighted to announce the winner of our Oral Heath Promotion Research Group Bursary 2022, as Emma Ryan which was presented to her by Chief Executive Orla Kennedy. Emma's project 'Keep Smiling; Think Before you Eat & Drink’ is an initiative to address free sugar consumption. You can read her project HERE
